We're all totally excited at the
gallery this week - one of our favorite shows, A Grand Affair, opens
Friday night to the public at 6 p.m.

- Amy Dixon's Be Mine sums it all up on Friday night...
What's
all the fuss? Well, first of all, you just can't argue with the
concept of it: the featured works in the show are all priced $1,000 and
under. Our wonderful artists always come through with new works
specifically painted for this show so the walls shine with innovative
and creative work.

- New
HHFA artist Michelle Knox grabbed our attention with her sweet
photography/mixed media pices like this one: Caught Ya, 18 x 18, $550
Second,
we just love the vibe of this exhibit. It always seems young, buzzy
and lively and full of collectors who truly love art - and are over the
moon to find little treasures by artists they know and follow. And
nothing delights us more than a little matching-making: clients and
great art equals happiness everywhere.

- We can't imagine this not ending up with a delighted collector. Nancy Franke, A Touch of Lemon, 14 x 11, $950.00.
- Laura
Lloyd Fontaine is another new artist we're so happy to introduce and
we're crazy about this piece: Dawn's Early Light, 20 x 30, $1,000
So,
as of today, the gallery is a mess. Paintings have been arriving on a
daily and even hourly basis and we're frantically inputting, tagging and
photographing. Tomorrow, we crank the music and hang the show.

- We have our work cut out for us to get the gallery perfect by Friday night...but we'll get it done!

- Behind the scenes...

- Landcapes in waiting...or a pile o' paintings all waiting for their special spot on the walls.
By
Friday, the gallery walls will be perfectly hung with dozens of new
paintings (all under a grand!) and we're pretty sure that as you're
strolling with a little glass of wine in your hand, you'll be as happy
as we are.
See you this Friday from 6 -8 p.m.
Ta Ta...
